Finance of America

At the heart of Finance of America Companies culture is an emphasis on caring for our communities, our employees and our customers. Finance of America Cares is our employee-funded and company-matched nonprofit whose mission is to strengthen our communities, enrich lives and inspire caring.

Four Core Programs

David Gillich

President – Finance of America Cares

I see service as an opportunity. Making place in our hearts and minds to meet the needs of others helps keep our blessings, and challenges, in perspective. Just because we have difficulties in our own lives doesn’t mean we can’t help someone else’s life to be better. We see it all the time. People whose homes were damaged in a tornado or fire, help and comfort others whose homes were completely destroyed. In Texas in Feb. 2021, people who had no electricity or running water opened their homes to neighbors who had no fireplace for heat. And I see it all the time in the funds we receive. People give generously, even though they may not have all they desire, because they know there are others with even greater needs. Kindness. Caring. Service. That is what Finance of America Cares is all about. From the volunteers who help to make our programs a reality, to all of those who provide support with their time and donations. It’s an honor to be one of the many people in this organization who help make a positive impact in the lives of so many others.

Ashley Pruitt

Executive Director – Finance of America Cares

There is nothing quite like the nonprofit sector. I feel incredibly fortunate that I get to make a positive difference each and every day of the week. Throughout the course of my career, I’ve worked at Susan G. Komen, the University of Central Florida and United Way. I’m currently responsible for overseeing Finance of America Cares, all while strengthening partnerships within the community through the promotion and presentation of the vital programs that live within the organization. I am absolutely honored to be a part of the team leading numerous strategic philanthropic initiatives with Finance of America Cares, and employees of Finance of America. I earned both my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and my MA in Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida (Go Knights)! I’m a native Floridian and currently live in Tampa, Florida with my two rescue mutts.
