Patti has always been ambitious and exhibited the strong work ethic necessary to achieve her goals. A pioneer in financial services since her earliest days in the industry, she has displayed grit and a knack for pivoting successfully to seize new opportunities. Under her leadership, Finance of America Companies has achieved rapid, remarkable success.
After earning her BA in education at Saint Mary’s College, Patti gravitated to sales and financial services. She completed her MBA at New York University and joined Salomon Brothers as one of very few female MBAs on Wall Street in that era. Driven to succeed on her own terms, she surrounded herself with smart, creative people and never stopped learning.
Patti moved into the asset management space, filling executive roles at Prudential, JP Morgan and Freddie Mac. Here she learned business operations, fixed income sales and trading, and the mortgage investment business. She led her team through the 2008 financial crisis and in 2016 joined Finance of America.
Patti loves people and the challenge of running a business. She is a passionate believer in the power of education. Her strong sense of family translates into her warm, approachable management style.
Graham, a Finance of America co-founder, brings to the company over 25 years of experience and deep expertise in the mortgage lending business. As president, Graham oversees our lending segments (Forward, Reverse and Commercial), as well as Lender Services. Prior to his current role, he served as chief administrative officer overseeing aspects of our Business Excellence Office including Finance, Treasury, Risk, Compliance and Corporate Administration.
With expertise in strategic planning, capital markets, and financial and regulatory management, Graham’s contribution to the company is invaluable. Before joining Finance of America, he served as a chief financial officer of AMRESCO Residential Mortgage and co-chief operating officer of Finance America LLC.
Graham’s passion and support for our non-profits, Foundation and Cares, have helped both entities grow to support the communities we serve and our employees in need.
Jeremy joined Finance of America in December 2015 and previously served as senior managing director of the company’s portfolio management business. Prior to Finance of America, he held the role of portfolio manager and director of quantitative solutions at Green Tree Investment Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Walter Investment Management.
In his current role, Jeremy is responsible for portfolio management at Finance of America Companies, including capital allocation across the firm, risk management and non-agency execution. Additionally, he partners with our origination businesses to ensure that they have best-in-market product offerings.
Jeremy holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Saint Cloud State University in Saint Cloud, Minnesota and also studied Applied Economics at the University of Minnesota. His interests include outdoor activities and travel with his family. He and his wife have three children.
Bill is known for building two mortgage companies from the ground up, First Franklin and Ownit Mortgage Solutions. In 2009, he purchased Skyline Home Loans with Upfront Ventures and a talented team to modernize the traditional mortgage business. In 2018, Skyline was purchased by Finance of America as another steppingstone toward realizing our mission and vision to bring the promise of the digital mortgage to our customers and advisors. Today, Bill leads the combined business.
Dallas Capital has completed over forty M&A transactions – InterThinx, MindBox and Cloudvirga to name a few. Finance of America and Cloudvirga’s Two-X Digital Mortgage Platform engages customers, empowers advisors and removes friction from the home loan process. The affiliated companies are backed by Blackstone (NYSE: BX), one of the world’s most respected investor partners.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Bowling Green State University and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Santa Clara School of Law. He has been named one of Bowling Green’s Top 100 graduates and inducted into the Business Hall of Fame, and also co-founded the school’s entrepreneurship center with Scott Hamilton. Bill is passionate about helping others. He is chairman and founding board member of Oaks Christian School, a premier college preparatory 5-12 Christian school located in Westlake Village, California.
Bruno has been a prominent leader in the mortgage industry for almost four decades. In 1998, he joined Gateway Funding and grew it into one of the most respected national mortgage providers and servicers in the U.S. Under his aegis, Gateway became a model for how an employee-first philosophy invoking 1940’s family values can inspire loyalty and overcome the challenges of an unpredictable business.
Bruno steered his organization through the 2001 recession and a severe contraction in the housing market to achieve record volume and profitability by 2004. He again led the company through the mortgage meltdown of 2008, emerging well-positioned to leverage the recovering economy into further growth. Gateway went on to receive numerous industry awards including making Mortgage Executive Magazine’s Top 100 Mortgage Companies list three years in a row, as well as the magazine’s list of Top 50 Best Places to Work. Bruno was named one of the Top 100 Mortgage Executives in America five years running.
In 2015, Gateway Funding was acquired by UFG Holdings and Bruno was appointed co-president of Finance of America. In 2017, he was named chief revenue officer and continues to serve in this role today.
In 2017, Bruno was asked to also lead Incenter, a relatively new subsidiary focused on optimizing operational and financial performance in the mortgage and lending industry. Working closely with the Incenter leadership team, he is responsible for setting the Incenter mission and vision, evaluating and guiding strategic acquisitions, providing financial oversight and support across Incenter’s seven different companies, and growing the Incenter corporate brand and reputation.
Outside of Incenter, Bruno is a board member of Xinnix mortgage training company. Previously, he served as vice president of the Delaware Valley Charter Schools Board of Directors and as a member of both the Mortgage Bankers Production board and the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) task force. He has also taught leadership courses at Temple University in Philadelphia. He earned his B.S. in Accounting at Ursinus College and lives in Rydal, Penn. Bruno and his wife share the joy of having five children and six grandchildren
As President of Finance of America Reverse, Kristen Sieffert is responsible for growth and innovation in Finance of America Companies’ reverse mortgage business. Under Kristen’s leadership, FAR has become a top GNMA issuer of reverse mortgages, the largest wholesale lender in the industry and an employer of choice for more than 300 professionals across the country. FAR’s HomeSafe® suite is the most comprehensive proprietary reverse mortgage offering in the industry and is a key driver of the organization’s commitment to help people get to work on retirement.
Prior to her role as president, Kristen served as FAR’s chief operating officer. Before joining FAR in 2012, Kristen served as acting president for San Diego-based EquiPoint and vice president for operations at One Reverse Mortgage. Kristen began her reverse mortgage career in 2004 with Financial Freedom Senior Funding Corp. She earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and in 2018 was accepted as a member of the San Diego Coastal Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Joe leads Finance of America Companies’ commercial loans division (FACo), which helps clients overcome traditional financing hurdles and build long-term wealth through real estate investment. Since the launch of FACo in 2017, Joe has been integral to the organization’s numerous successes. He led the integrations with B2R Finance and Jordan Capital Finance, implemented FACo’s loan origination technology and guided FACo to profitability.
An accomplished executive with more than 35 years of mortgage industry experience, Joe has solid progressive history promoting substantial growth and profitability for mid-size and Fortune 500 mortgage banking institutions. He has managed start-ups and built highly effective sales and operations divisions from the ground up.
Joe is also known for his skill around recruiting, training and managing multisite operations staff. He previously held senior leadership roles at Genworth Mortgage Insurance, BNC Mortgage, Fieldstone Mortgage and American Mortgage Solutions.
Joe is also a thought leader on topics including modifications and repayment plans related to mortgage products, as well as government relations. He holds an Accounting degree from International Business College. His personal interests are travel, music and playing tennis. Joe enjoys being active with his two sons and believes strongly in the importance of family.
Alex is a founding member of the executive team, and currently leads the Enterprise Operations group which manages all company-wide initiatives, M&A activities and strategies. He also manages the Business Excellence Office (BXO)- the shared services backbone of Finance of America Companies. BXO comprises the IT, HR, Legal, Finance & Accounting, Compliance & Risk and Corporate Administration departments.
Alex also serves as president of Incenter Solutions, a division with the primary purpose of optimizing clients’ operational and financial performance along the lending continuum. Since taking the helm of Incenter Solutions in 2017, Alex has established the organization’s strategic direction, paved the way for innovative service development, and successfully integrated loan fulfillment with Finance of America Companies’ downstream lines of business.
Before joining Finance of America, Alex held the position of vice president, strategy and operations at Nationstar Mortgage where he focused on M&A, integration activities, performance management and cost reduction efforts. Prior to Nationstar, he spent several years with PwC’s Consumer Finance Group where he specialized in Consumer Lending.
Alex graduated cum laude from the George Washington University with a BBA in Finance. He is a founder of our philanthropic and charitable arm, Finance of America Cares, through which employees can volunteer to help communities in need.
Anthony oversees Finance of America Companies’ Legal and Compliance teams. He was previously the general counsel of Beyond Finance, Inc. He also served for eight years as executive vice president and general counsel of Nationstar Mortgage Holdings, Inc., now known as Mr. Cooper Group Inc. Prior to joining Nationstar, Anthony was vice president and associate general counsel for three years at Goldman Sachs, where he served as the managing attorney for Litton Loan Servicing LP, a Goldman Sachs company. He also served as executive vice president and general counsel of EMC Mortgage Corporation, a Bear Stearns company.
Anthony holds a J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a B.S. in Political Science from Arizona State University. He was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in 1983 and the Texas Bar in 1989.
Born and raised in New Mexico, Anthony has lived in Dallas, Texas for more than 30 years. He is married to a lawyer and has two daughters, one a lawyer and the other a pediatrician, and has two young grandsons. He loves to travel, especially to Italy and Croatia.
Lauren joined Finance of America in September 2016 and has served as general counsel since 2019. As general counsel, she oversees all legal matters for the company, including corporate governance, corporate transactions, contracts, litigation and dispute resolution, legal compliance and legal due diligence. Prior to her current role, she was deputy general counsel for Finance of America Holdings LLC. She was also previously a corporate attorney at Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, an international law firm. In this role she represented and advised private and public companies, including Finance of America, in connection with mergers and acquisitions, public and private debt and equity offerings, and other corporate transactions and governance matters.
Lauren holds a J.D. and a B.B.A., each with honors, from Southern Methodist University. She was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, where she currently resides, and in her free time enjoys spending time with her husband and three young children.
A future-oriented, persuasive and analytical leader, Carolyn thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys creative and collaborative problem solving. With proven success working alongside growing mortgage lenders, she has a passion for supporting diverse organizations as they navigate change. As a key member of the Finance of America Companies’ leadership team, she leads with vision and purpose, nurturing organizational culture and supporting future growth via an HR centers of excellence model.
With 20+ years of experience, Carolyn has built and managed HR organizations driving business goals within the mortgage, pharmaceutical, biotech and manufacturing industries. Her experience includes managing the human side of mergers and acquisitions both domestically and internationally. She strives to build the capabilities of employees to help them better support the business while also developing as individuals. Carolyn earned her MA in HR Management from National University and holds a BA in Communications from Baldwin-Wallace College. Additionally, she has completed the HR Leadership Certification Program at the University of California, San Diego.
Carolyn believes in the power of supporting community. In past years, she led the implementation of a successful foundation and today strongly supports Finance of America Companies’ Cares foundation initiatives. Carolyn is a positive, approachable leader who believes in finding joy in the work we do each day. She enjoys travel and hikes with her husband, riding her Peloton, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Ben joined Finance of America in 2017 as chief information officer after serving as CTO at Ditech Mortgage and holding numerous other IT leadership roles at Ditech, Walter Investment Management and GMAC ResCap. A trusted member of the executive team, he has 20 years of technology experience, including 18 years in financial services technology.
Experienced in constructing a business from the ground up, Ben is skilled at building and motivating teams that produce positive results for the business. His vast knowledge of IT and business transformation, IT services and leadership, and strategic planning are a key element of Finance of America Companies’ growth strategy.
Ben received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Boston College.
