An avid entrepreneur finds his happy place watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Right out of college, Richard and a couple of his fraternity brothers started the Cask and Cleaver chain of steak houses in California. They were young and committed to working long hours for several years to see the chain grow to 30 restaurants and finally sold the business.
Being able to experience the great outdoors on his terms is Ron’s greatest joy. As a semi-retired accountant, Ron has been living in the home he shared with his wife for over 35 years in the San Fernando Valley. “She wanted this house, and now it has made me over a million bucks!” Eight years after losing his wife, Ron had finally accepted that she is not coming back and wanted to move on with his life and focus on his finances.
Living a full life and doing what they love meant finding a way to fund their travels. Mario had been working full-time since he was twelve years old and never stopped until he retired from his role as a motion picture technician. After the loss of his first wife, and mother of his three children at an early age, Mario was only focused on providing for his family. After several years, he finally met Veronica, an elementary school teacher and now wife of 24 years. After they both retired, they started planning how they wanted to live out their golden years and agreed that it was all about traveling the world. They just needed to figure out how they were going to fund it.

I was in permanent contact with Kristina Bruno, wonderful person,always answers all my questions no matter what time, she assist me all through the processing, great support. she gave me confidence and all information i needed. The process was quick and easy. Yes, a lot of docs needed but worth it, I am free of debts, can still keep my house and have a life free of stress.

Great reps and communication!! It wasn't a hassle for me at all because my house was paid for. A reverse mortgage was the best option for me at this time, and I'm using most of the money to remodel my house. I'm retired, so I can't make loan payments, and the reverse mortgage allows me to invest in my home and build more equity. It will absolutely work for me!

There were many pitfalls in with the reverse mortgage procedure but the Finance of America representative, Rebekah Weiskittel was godsend.
